G. Gail Parker Launches Platform Centered on Equal Rights and Human Dignity

A just society begins with an unyielding recognition of the inherent dignity, equal rights, and individual worth of every human being. Rights are not granted by government, nor are they contingent on utility, background, or economic status—they are fundamental and endowed to every person. When public institutions forget this truth, citizens are reduced to numbers on a ledger, and equal protection under the law gives way to administrative favoritism.

Parker is enshrining human dignity as a guiding principle for all public policy—ensuring that government treats every citizen with impartial justice, respect, and equal standing.

"Our rights don't come from government agencies, and our worth isn't determined by bureaucratic decree," said Parker. "Every individual possesses inherent dignity and equal value. True public service means protecting individual liberty, defending equal rights for all, and ensuring that public policy uplifts human potential rather than reducing people to metrics of state control."

Key priorities under this pillar include:

  • Equal Protection & Impartial      Justice:     Upholding constitutional guarantees to ensure every individual is treated      with complete fairness and equal protection under the law, free from      institutional bias or selective enforcement.
  • Safeguarding Fundamental Freedoms: Protecting      core civil liberties—including freedom of speech, religious expression,      and personal conscience—from government overreach, censorship, or      coercion.
  • Dignity-Centered Opportunity: Restructuring      public support systems to focus on empowerment, personal agency, and      independence, ensuring that safety nets serve as trampolines back to      self-sufficiency rather than traps of permanent dependency.
  • Human Dignity, Equality, and      Inherent Worth:     Every human being possesses endowed, non-negotiable dignity and equal      standing under the law. We must guarantee impartial justice, safeguard      fundamental civil liberties, and restructure safety nets to foster      personal agency and independence.

Glenda Gail Parker Announces Candidacy for United States Senate in South Carolina Myrtle Beach, SC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Glenda Gail Parker Announces Candidacy for United States Senate in South Carolina

Myrtle Beach, SC -- Glenda Gail Parker today announced her candidacy for the Republican nomination in the Special Primary election for South Carolina’s United States Senate seat. Parker brings decades of military and public service experience and is campaigning on a platform focused on fiscally responsible affordability solutions, strategic infrastructure investment, public safety, and conservative values.

“I am running to provide principled, practical leadership for South Carolina and our nation,” said Parker. “My campaign is grounded in faith, family, service, and a commitment to finding common-sense solutions for the challenges facing American families. Sign up on my website to receive email updates on my journey.”

Parker describes herself as a conservative independent who leans Republican, advocating for policies aimed at reducing fraud, strengthening immigration enforcement, requiring voter identification, and maintaining a strong and well-equipped military.

A key component of her campaign is support for strategic transportation investments, including high-speed rail along the I-95 South Corridor and light rail service in the Myrtle Beach region. Parker believes these projects can promote economic growth, improve mobility, and enhance long-term energy security while serving one of the nation's fastest-growing areas and a major tourism destination.

Parker also highlighted the safety and economic benefits of expanded passenger rail service, noting its potential to reduce roadway congestion, lower transportation costs, and strengthen connections between communities across the country.

Parker is a retired federal executive and Air Force officer with more than 36 years of federal service. A single parent of three children, she balanced full-time work while earning her college degree and retired in 2001 after serving at the GS/GM-15 level. She is also the grandmother of four and great-grandmother of one.

“Throughout my career, I served under administrations of both parties and remained focused on results,” Parker said. “That experience taught me how to bring people together and work toward practical legislative solutions that benefit all Americans. If you have questions or want to reach out, please fill out the contact form on my website.”
